Docklands: from €290,000The final phase of apartments at the Crosbie's Yard development in Dublin centre launches this week.
The Harry Crosbie development is close to Connolly Station in Dublin's north Docklands, beside Spencer Dock. Busáras and Tara Street Dart station are also close.
The 200-unit scheme is along the Royal Canal at Ossory Road, just off North Strand Road.
The scheme was first launched off plans in 2004 and now they are releasing 15 units from the last phase. To date buyers have been predominantly young couples, first-time buyers and people looking to move closer to the city centre.
Agents Hooke & MacDonald will be taking bookings at show units today. Prices for one-bedroom apartments with around 50sq m (540sq ft) cost from €290,000.
The two-bedroom apartments with 63-80sq m (675-860sq ft) cost from €370,000.
There are also a number of three-bedroom penthouses available, which are priced from €500,000.
The IFSC, National College of Ireland, Point Theatre and the new site for the Abbey Theatre at George's Dock are all close by.
Architects Scott Tallon Walker have designed the apartments to run the full width of each block. This means that there are only two homes at each level.
Underground car parking spaces are available for an additional €30,000. The scheme is now complete and ready for occupation, says the selling agent.
