Dublin 18: from €590,000 Twenty-five high-spec houses, duplexes and apartments within walking distance of Foxrock village are launching this week, writes Kate McMorrow
Launching today with Hamilton Osborne King is the final phase at Kelston, a smart Park Developments scheme in well-landscaped grounds just off the N11 at White's Cross, Dublin 18.
This development is located at the junction of Stillorgan Road and Leopardstown Road, within walking distance of Foxrock village and Leopardstown racecourse.
A total of 25 houses, duplexes and apartments are on offer and specification is of a high standard. Solid oak internal doors and staircases, Seimatic kitchens with integrated appliances and bathrooms with top quality fittings are some of the features that will impress. Light sockets and switches are chrome finish and tiling in hall, bathrooms and kitchen are also standard.
Prices start at €590,000 for nine ground floor two-bedroom apartments with 84.5sq m (909sq ft) of living space. These have their own hall door opening onto a private terrace and garden area.
Large windows create plenty of natural light in the open-plan living area, which includes a glass block wall and fitted kitchen with appliances and utility room. The largest bedroom comes with an en suite shower while a second double bedroom has direct access to the main bathroom.
Above the apartments and accessed via a stone staircase are nine four-bedroom duplex units of 120sq m (1,292sq ft), priced from €740,000. A kitchen/diner and utility room are to the front, while a separate sittingroom with fireplace and doors to a terrace is to the rear at entrance level. Four good-sized bedrooms, one en suite, are on the top floor. The staircase here and in the terraced houses is American oak.
Also for sale in this phase are seven four-bedroom terraced houses with 164sq m (1,765sq ft) of accommodation, priced from €995,000 to €1.1 million. Set over three floors and with two sittingrooms, these houses are designed with families in mind.
On the ground floor is a well-fitted Siematic kitchen with appliances and granite worktops, utility with toilet, a diningroom and family sittingroom. A second formal sittingroom on the first floor is bright and airy, with a dual aspect and classic fireplace.
The largest of the four bedrooms is en suite and there is also a guest toilet and family bathroom with Jacuzzi bath, heated towel rail and Grohe shower. Each house has a private fully landscaped back garden with timber shed, paving and a decked area.
Houses and apartments in this final phase are ready to move into as soon as paperwork is completed. Viewing is from today through to Sunday.
