The term "added value" takes on a new meaning with Cary Construction's latest marketing incentive at Sallins Wharf, at Sallins, Co Kildare.

The first three buyers at this new phase of four-bed semis and five-bed detached houses will be offered ready-furnished houses at no extra cost by selling agent Sherry FitzGerald O'Reilly.

Prices start at £174,000 €220,930) for four-bedroom semis of 1,224 to 1,306 sq ft. Five-bedroom detached houses with 1,840 sq ft of living space cost from £265,000 €336,480). Eight four-bed houses and two five-bed detached houses are available for sale in this phase.

The scheme, located on the left over the bridge at Sallins, is already maturing, with several owners already in residence. With excellent transport facilities and picturesque barges along the canal, commuters are finding the area an attractive place to live.

The phase currently for sale will be ready to move into by spring 2002 and the entire scheme of 104 houses is expected to be completed by the end of next year. Layouts in the four-bedroom semis are traditional, with a box bay window in the sittingroom, a diningroom and kitchen/breakfastroom with solid maple Shaker-style units.

The five-bedroom houses include en suites with three bedrooms. Standard in all the houses are tongue and groove flooring. Lawns are a good size and come levelled and seeded. Showhouses are open on Saturday and Sunday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
