The new homes market continues to attract an endless stream of buyers, judging by sales last weekend at two developments being handled by the Ross McParland agency. Menolly Developments sold 72 three-bedroom and four-bed semis with a value of over £10 million at its new Wolstan Haven scheme at Celbridge. The three-bedroom units were priced from £125,000 and the four-beds from £165,000.

It was much the same story at Tolka Vale, on the old Finglas Road, near Glasnevin, where all 34 apartments in the second block were snapped up over the weekend. Virtually all of the £4.5 million in sales were to first-time buyers.
