In Donnybrook, Lisney secured £2.3 million at auction for a large five-bedroom detached house at 29 Eglinton Road. The house, Glaunsharoon, stands on two-thirds of an acre of sheltered gardens. Four parties chased the property after bidding opened at £1 million. The house was declared on the market at £2 million.

On Ailesbury Road, Finnegan Menton fetched just over £2 million after auction for 23 Ailesbury Road, a large Victorian terraced redbrick, following its withdrawal at £1.85 million.

Also in Donnybrook, 120 Stillorgan Road, a four-bedroom semi-detached house, made £348,000 at a Lisney auction.

In Ballsbridge, a three-bed mews at 60 Heytesbury Lane made £430,000 through Gunne.

Sherry FitzGerald sold a converted three-bedroom Victorian coach-house at 69 Pembroke Lane for £480,000.

A four-bedroom Georgian house on one-third of an acre of gardens at 23 Park Avenue, Sandymount, was sold at auction for £710,000.

At 8 Gilford Road, Sandy mount, an Edwardian mid-terraced four-bedroom house made £575,000 through Gunne.

Hamilton Osborne King sold 52 Wilfield Road, Sandymount, a four-bedroom semi-detached house at auction for £351,000. Gunne fetched a strong price of £222,000 for 2 Bath Avenue Gardens, a three-bedroom semi-detached house off Bath Avenue. Nearby a two-bedroom mid-terraced house in need of modernisation at 48 O'Connell Gardens, made £178,000 through Bennetts. In Dublin 2, 46 Percy Place, a three-bedroom mid-terrace house, was sold prior to auction for a price believed to be over £240,000 by Billy O'Sullivan Auctioneers.

Dublin 6 and l8

Sherry FitzGerald secured a strong price of £1.46 million at auction for 11 St James's Terrace, 22 Clonskeagh Road, a two-storey over garden level seven-bedroom house. In Ranelagh, 47 Upper Beechwood Avenue, a four-bedroom semi, was sold prior to auction by Billy O'Sullivan for a price believed to be about £340,000. Also on Upper Beechwood Avenue, Number 25, a semi-detached four-bedroom house, was withdrawn at £250,000 and sold later for a higher price through Ganly Walters. Nearby at 11 Rugby Road, a three-bedroom mid-terrace house, made £202,000 through Sherry FitzGerald. In Rathgar, The Manse House, a detached five-bedroom house at 71 Brighton Road, made £655,000 through Sherry FitzGerald. Elsewhere in Rathgar, 3 Tower Villas, a three-bedroom terraced townhouse, made £317,000 through Jackson-Stops McCabe. In Rathmines, 39 Fortfield Terrace, a four-bed semi, made £295,000 through Sherry FitzGerald. A three-bedroom semi-detached house at 15 Shanid Road, Harold's Cross, made £211,000 through Sherry FitzGerald.

Also in Harold's Cross, 16 Greenmount Court, a one-bedroom house needing modernisation made £105,000 through Michael Byrne Estates. A four-bedroom detached house at 267 Templeogue Road, Templeogue, Dublin 6W, was withdrawn by Gunne, which is quoting £280,000.

South Dublin

In Killiney, a detached three-bedroom bungalow at 105 Avondale Road was withdrawn by Lisney, which is quoting £280,000.

A detached three-bedroom bungalow, Kisheen, at 13 Cunningham Drive, Dalkey, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £350,000.

Elsewhere in Dalkey, a detached four-bedroom house, Rathmore, on Ulverton Close, was withdrawn and is under negotiation through Sherry FitzGerald.

A refurbished two-storey over garden level six-bedroom terraced house at 12 Breffni Terrace, Sandycove, was withdrawn at £625,000 and sold later for a higher price by Lisney.

A three-storey Victorian house currently in four flats at 4 Islington Avenue, Sandycove, made £440,000 through Sherry FitzGerald.

In Glenageary, Inver, a five-bedroom two-storey over garden level period house on Marlborough Road made £1.05 million at a Lisney auction.

A four-bedroom semi-detached house at 26 Rosmeen Gardens, Dun Laoghaire, made £335,000 through Lisney.

Lisney secured over the withdrawal figure of £190,000 after auction for 7 Corrig Park, a three-bedroom semi-detached house.

Also in Dun Laoghaire, a five-bedroom detached house at 10 Myrtle Park was withdrawn by Lisney, which is quoting £350,000. On Mount Merrion Avenue, Blackrock, 79 Frankfort House, a Victorian property in five self-contained flats, made £680,000 through Lisney.

Corradinna, a detached four-bedroom house, on Newtownpark Avenue, Blackrock, made £505,000 through Sherry FitzGerald. Nearby, a detached four-bedroom dormer bungalow, Laragh, on Newtownpark Avenue, made £351,000 through Terry Halpenny.

In Mount Merrion, 53 Cherrygarth, a five-bedroom detached house made £419,000, through O'Mahony Auctioneers.

Gunne secured £255,000 at auction for Nephin Lodge, a two-bedroom cut-stone semi-detached cottage at Belmont, Galloping Green, Stillorgan, Dublin 18. A four-bedroom detached bungalow at 13 Kilgobbin Heights, Stepaside, Dublin 18, was withdrawn by Daphne L. Kaye & Associates, which is quoting £425,000. Dublin 14 and 16

Hamilton Osborne King achieved £615,000 at auction for 90 Whitebeam Road, Clonskeagh, Dublin 14, a four-bedroom semidetached house on a quarter of an acre.

A detached four-bedroom dormer bungalow, The Anchorage, on Clonskeagh Road, made £350,000 through Lisney. Meanwhile at 32 Beechmount Drive, Gledswood Park, Clonskeagh, a three-bedroom semi made £196,500 through Gunne. A four-bedroom detached bungalow, Curracloe, at 1 Taney Lawn, off Taney Road, Dundrum, Dublin 14, was withdrawn at £270,000 and is under negotiation through Gunne

In Churchtown, 2 Milltown Drive, a four-bedroom detached house, made £415,000 through Sherry FitzGerald. In Rathfarnham, Dublin 14, 1 Riverside Drive, Castle Park, a five-bedroom semi on a corner site, made £435,000 through Lisney.

North Dublin

In Howth, Sherry FitzGerald secured £1.19 million under the hammer for Ballintoy, a large detached house on an acre on Ceanchor Road, Baily. In Clontarf, Dublin 3, Rostrevor, at 133 St Lawrence Road, a five-bedroom terraced period house, was withdrawn at £330,000 and sold later for about £360,000 through Gunne.

A detached four-bed bungalow at 35 Kincora Road, Clontarf, made £490,000 through Gunne. Sherry FitzGerald achieved £264,000 for 86 Dollymount Park, Clontarf, a four-bedroom end of terrace house. Meanwhile at 87 Mount Prospect Drive, Clontarf, a three-bedroom semi made £201,000 through North & Co.

In Glasnevin, 11 Cremore Villas, a three-bedroom end of terrace house, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £250,000. Elsewhere in Glasnevin, 21 Ballymun Road, a five-bedroom semi, was withdrawn at £300,000 and is under negotiation through Hamilton Osborne King.

In Drumcondra, Dublin 9, a four-bedroom semi at 219 Griffith Avenue, made £330,000 through Herman White Estates. Also in Drumcondra, 35 Glenarm Square, a modern three-bedroom townhouse, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £230,000.

In Dublin 15, 15 Chesterfield View, Castleknock, a four-bedroom detached house, was withdrawn by Lisney, which is quoting £355,000. In the Naul, Co Dublin, Lynmore, a three-bedroom cottage on a quarter of an acre made £87,500 through Hamilton Osborne King.

Wicklow

On Strand Road, Bray, Dunluce, a two-storey over garden level Victorian house, made £460,000 through Gunne. Also in Bray, Leamh Dearg, a detached four-bed bungalow on Meath Road, was withdrawn at £150,000 by JacksonStops McCabe, which is quoting £220,000-plus. In Delgany, Gunne secured £670,000 for Willowbrook, at 17 Kendalstown Rise, a detached four-bedroom house on an acre. In Greystones, Waverley, a late Victorian four-bedroom house on Church Road, was sold at auction for £275,000 by Ganly Walters. Ardeen, a five-bedroom detached bungalow at Rocky Valley, Kilmacanogue, was withdrawn at £330,000 and is under negotiation through Gunne.

Also in Kilmacanogue, Grantham Place, a four-bedroom detached house on Rocky Valley Drive, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £330,000. A five-room cottage on half an acre at Dublin Road, Blessington, was withdrawn at £85,000 by Nugent Auctioneers, which is quoting £100,000.

Provincial

In Co Galway, a two-bedroom thatched cottage on 1.75 acres at Cappaghmore, Kinvara, was sold prior to auction for £110,000 by Sherry FitzGerald. A 72-acre non-residential farm at Lamberton, Portlaoise, Co Laois, made £315,000 through joint agents, Ganly Walters and Tony McInerney.

Commercial

In Dun Laoghaire, three two-storey over basement period buildings at 78/79/80 Upper George's Street, were withdrawn at £1.1 million and are under negotiation through Gunne.

In Ballsbridge, Northumberland Lodge, a two-storey over garden level guest house at 68 Northumberland Road, was withdrawn at £1.55 million and is under negotiation through Sherry FitzGerald. In Dublin 2, Georgian offices at 66 Harcourt Street made £1.07m through McNally Handy. In Temple Bar, Dublin 2, a three-bedroom apartment and retail unit at Sycamore Street was withdrawn at £650,000 and is under negotiation through Gunne. In Rathgar, a residential shop premises at 4-6 Orwell Road, was withdrawn by Lisney, which is quoting £380,000.

A car showrooms with a large rear yard, at 457,459,461 and 463 North Circular Road, Dublin 7, was withdrawn by Hamilton Osborne King.

A detached former school building at Strawberry Beds, Lower Road, Dublin 20, made £190,000 through Hamilton Osborne King. In Skerries, a 2.5-acre site at Nuns Field, Rush Road, was withdrawn at £50,000 and is under negotiation through Grimes.

In Co Louth, The Ferdia Arms, Ardee, a 15-bedroom B & B and public house, was sold at auction for £760,000 through Gartian Estate Agents.

In Co Kilkenny, The Urlingford Arms pub, on Main Street, Urlingford, was withdrawn at £320,000 and is under negotiation through P.J. Broderick.

A three-bedroom cottage with outline planning for a 10-bedroom guesthouse at Portrun, Co Roscommon, was withdrawn at £225,000 by Hynes & Son, which is quoting £300,000.
