The highest price paid so far this season at auction for a Dublin house was achieved yesterday when Sherry FitzGerald secured £1.27m (€1.61m) for 56 Wellington Road, Ballsbridge. Two bidders chased the property after bidding opened at £1 million (€1.27m). The two-storey over garden level house has four bedrooms.
Also in Ballsbridge, 103 Anglesea Road, a four-bedroom house, was withdrawn at £700,000 (€888,816) and sold later for a higher figure through HOK Residential.
In Sandymount, Bennett Auctioneers sold two properties after auction: a three-bedroom house at 15a Strand Road was withdrawn at £430,000 (€545,987) and sold later for a higher figure while 68 Tritonville Road, an end of terrace Victorian property, made over £400,000 (€507,895).
Meanwhile Stella Maris at 1a Leahy Terrace, a four-bedroom detached house, was withdrawn by HOK Residential, which is seeking £700,000 (€888,816); next door, 1 Leahy Terrace, a two-bedroom end of terrace house, was withdrawn by the same agent which is quoting £650,000 (€825,329).
In Donnybrook, 19 Mount Eden Road, a four-bedroom house, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald which is quoting £645,000 (€818,981).
SOUTH DUBLIN
Lisney secured over £1.15m (€1.46m) after auction for Hernshaw, a four-bedroom detached house on 0.5 acres at 7 Hillside Drive, Rathfarnham, Dublin 14.
In Dalkey, a four-bedroom detached house, The Hawthorns on Saval Park Road, was withdrawn by Lisney which sold it later for over £700,000 (€888,816).
A three-bedroom bungalow at 2 Summerfield Close, Dalkey was sold at auction by Lisney for £357,500 (€453,390).
Also in Dalkey, Douglas Newman Good is seeking about £700,000 (€888,816) for Dunmore, a five/six-bedroom detached house on Castlepark Road, after it failed to sell at auction yesterday.
In Sandycove, a four-bedroom single-storey over garden level detached house, Sandycove Lodge on Sandycove Avenue East, was withdrawn and is under negotiation through Lisney.
In Glenageary, 16 Silchester Park, a four-bedroom semi-detached house, was withdrawn at £330,000 (€419,013) and sold later for a higher figure through Lisney.
Lisney is seeking £400,000 (€507,895) for 5 Cluain Mhuire, Glenageary, a three-bedroom bungalow after it failed to sell at auction.
A two-bedroom bungalow, Couleen, at Lower Glenageary Road, was withdrawn by Lisney, which is quoting £255,000 (€323,783).
In D·n Laoghaire, Eglinton House, a four-bedroom detached house at Eglinton Park, was withdrawn by Lisney which is seeking £1.1m (€1.39m).
A five-bedroom house at 88 Upper Georges Street, D·n Laoghaire was withdrawn at £600,000 (€761,842) by Sherry FitzGerald which is quoting £750,000 (€952,303).
In Booterstown, a four-bedroom semi-detached house at 69 Trimleston Park was sold at a Lisney auction for £340,000 (€431,710).
Sherry FitzGerald is quoting £1.2 million (€1.52m) for Meadowcourt, a four-bedroom detached house on Stillorgan Park, Blackrock, after its withdrawal from auction.
Still in Blackrock, 14 Stradbrook Lawns, a three-bedroom bungalow, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald.
In Dublin 20, Uisce Ban at Strawberry Beds was withdrawn by Lisney which is quoting over £600,000 (€761,842).
Close by, Clevedon House at Strawberry Beds, a two-bedroom house, was withdrawn by Lisney.
In Tallaght, Dublin 24, a site with planning permission for the erection of a bungalow at 20 Old Court, was withdrawn at £95,000 (€120,625) and sold later for a higher figure through Tom Maher.

Douglas Newman Good achieved £410,000 (€520,592) at auction for 7 Greenlea Drive, Terenure, Dublin 6W.
Also in Terenure, 6 Lavarna Grove, a three-bedroom semi-detached house, was withdrawn at £350,000 (€444,408) and sold later for a higher figure by Lisney.
Number 34 Fergus Road, Terenure, a three-bedroom detached house, was withdrawn at £310,000 (€393,618) and sold later for a higher figure through Douglas Newman Good.
North Dublin
Sherry FitzGerald sold a five-bedroom detached house, The Rocks, at Windgate Road, Howth, after auction for £1m (€1.26m).
In North Co Dublin, a bungalow on 23 acres at Kilreesk, St. Margarets, was sold at auction yesterday for £380,000 (€482,500) by Dillon Auctioneers.
In Oldtown, Co Dublin, Whitestown Stud on 25 acres was withdrawn at £260,000 (€330,131) and is under negotiation through Sherry FitzGerald-Sherry.

In Co Wicklow, joint agents Ganly Walters and Bill Montgomery of Sothebys International have sold 'Grangecon Demesne on 256 acres after auction for a figure believed to be in the region of £3.5 million. Located in the village of Grangecon, the equestrian property is 10 miles from the Curragh.
In Co Kildare, Westown House on seven acres at Johnstown, Naas, was sold at auction yesterday for a strong price of £888,000 (€1.12m) through Colm McEvoy. The pre-auction guide price was £475,000 (€603,125).
Also near Naas, Goose Acre Cottage at Corbally, Two Mile House, a cottage on 0.75 acres, was withdrawn at £135,000 (€171,414) and is under negotiation through Colm McEvoy.
The same agent secured £211,000 (€267,914) under the hammer for a three-bedroom bungalow on an acre at Newtown, Naas while a 10-acre holding at Broadleas, Ballymore Eustace, Naas made £131,000 (€166,335).
Yesterday, Nolan & Brophy withdrew Primrose Cottage, a three-bedroom cottage on Chapel Lane, Naas at £210,000 (€266,645).
Property Partners-Brady fetched £165,000 (€209,506) at auction for a farmhouse on an acre at Cappagh, Kilcock.
A four-bedroom house on 0.5 acres, Orchard House, Millicent, was withdrawn at £320,000 (€406,316) by Colm McEvoy which is quoting in the region of £335,000-plus (€425,362).
Still in Co Kildare, a detached house at 122 Connaught Street, Kilcock, was withdrawn and is under negotiation through Property Partners-Brady.
In Co Meath, a 65-acre non-residential farm at Porterstown, Ratoath, was sold at auction for £500,000 (€634,869) through joint agents Sherry FitzGerald-Sherry and TE Potterton.
The same agent sold a four-bedroom bungalow at Derrockstown, Dunshaughlin at auction for £125,000 (€158,717).
Near Navan, Killary, a house on 26 acres at Lobinstown, was auctioned in two lots by Kieran & Mcgee: Lot 1, comprising the house, made £248,000 (€314,895) while Lot 2, 13.4 acres, was withdrawn at £60,000 (€76,184) and is under negotiation.
Also near Navan, a 96-acre residential farm at Skreen Road, Walterstown, was auctioned in two lots by Smith Harrington: Lot 1 comprising a house on 42 acres was withdrawn and sold later for over the guide price of £450,000 (€571,382) and Lot 2 with 52 acres was withdrawn and is now quoting £450,000 (€571,000).
A farmhouse on 35 acres at Ballyhack, Ashbourne, was withdrawn by Smith Harrington which is seeking £600,000-plus (€761,842).
A 230-acre residential farm at Demailstown, Navan was withdrawn and is under negotiation through T & J Gavigan.
In Co Westmeath, Grouse Lodge at Milltownpass was auctioned in three lots by Jackson Stops: Lot 1 comprising the house on 26 acres made £216,000 (€274,263); Lot 2, 34 acres, sold at auction for £150,000 (€190,460) and Lot 3, the outfarm, sold at auction for £171,000 (€217,125).
In Co Westmeath, a house on 40 acres at Kilgawney, Rathconrath, Mullingar, was withdrawn at £260,000 (€330,131) by T.E. Potterton.
In Co Mayo, a four-bedroom bungalow on an acre, Maskeen at Kilbride, Clonbur, was withdrawn at £211,000 (€267,914) by Jackson Stops which sold it later for a higher figure.
