Newbridge from €350,000: Four-bedroom semi-detached and detached houses go on sale this weekend in a brand new scheme at Newbridge, Co Kildare.
A total of 154 houses will be eventually built at Walshestown Park, which is off the Kilcullen to Athgarvan Road, a mile from the town centre. Jordan Auctioneers is the selling agent.
Four house types are on offer at Walshestown Park. Prices for the first 45 houses start at €350,000 for four-bedroom semis of 116sq m (1,250sq ft).
Four-bed detached houses of 149sq m (1,500sq ft) cost from €420,000.
Larger four-bedroom detached houses of 176sq m (1,770sq ft) start at €465,000.
Top of the range are 168sq m (1,809sq ft) four-bedroom detached houses priced from €485,000.
Developer Roseberry Construction has a strong track record in the area, with Cnoc na Gréine in Kildare, Tannery Wharf in Rathangan and Walshestown Abbey among previous schemes.
Attractively stone-faced and with front and back gardens and cobblelocked drives, the Walshestown Park houses are expected to appeal to families looking for traditional houses away from the city bustle.
Allowances are provided for kitchens, tiling, fireplaces and wardrobes, permitting buyers to individualise their new homes.
The amount may not stretch to the show unit fittings however. Buyers will probably need to supplement the €3,000 to €5,000 kitchen allowance if they decide on the show house model.
A small number of houses in this phase will be ready to move into this October, the rest will be finished by spring 2006.
