The first phase of apartments at the Charleville Square development in Rathfarnham, Dublin 14, will be launched from the plans today.
The first block will have 31 two-bedroom apartments, with prices ranging from £215,000 to £360,000 for the largest penthouse. Charleville Square is an Edwardian-style scheme of new detached and semidetached houses and apartments off Butterfield Avenue in one of Dublin's most mature suburbs. When completed, there will be 67 houses and 140 apartments.
The Willow is the first of four four-storey apartment blocks to be launched. The majority of apartments will range in size from 711 to 764 sq ft, with a small number of larger units of up to 966 sq ft at either the penthouse or third floor level. The penthouses also boast roof patios of 160 to 340 sq ft.
The first block is expected to be ready for occupation in the autumn. All of the apartments will have balconies, including the ground floor units, which are positioned at an elevated garden level. Prices for the garden apartments range from £215,000 for a 711 sq ft unit to £290,000 for a 935 sq ft home.
The selling agents, Ross McParland, promise that the apartments will be finished to a high standard. All will have good quality kitchen units, wardrobes, panelled internal doors with chrome fittings and attractive fireplaces. Each main bedroom will have an en suite bathroom.
On the first floor, prices start from £225,000 for a 734 sq ft unit. Second floor prices range from £230,000 for a 734 sq ft unit to £305,000 for a 935 sq ft unit.
There are four penthouses ranging in price from £290,000 to £360,000.
The models and plans of the apartments will go on view today from noon to 2 p.m. daily until next Sunday in the five-bedroom show home on site.
