Green Property has paid £4 million for two commercial buildings at the Airways Industrial Estate near Dublin Airport. The largest unit, with almost 50,000 sq ft, including 1,667 sq ft of offices, has been occupied by Irish Express Cargo at a rent of £240,000 per annum. The company is availing of a break option in the lease at the end of the year and moving to Rosemount Business Park near Blanchardstown. Green plan to refurbish the building before re-letting it.
The second building acquired by Green has a combined space of 31,000 sq ft including over 4,000 sq ft of offices which are let under a short term lease to Lotus BV. Patrick Curran of Harrington Bannon handled the sales for a group of private investors.
