DUBLIN 4: €8,000 per monthThings look better from a height - like a Dublin penthouse apartment with three bedrooms, writes Fiona Tyrrell
WHEN IT comes to penthouses, it's all about the views - and the topmost apartment at the Millennium Tower, at Charlotte Quay in Dublin 4, doesn't disappoint.
From the lofty heights of the 15th and 16th floor duplex it is hard not to think that the city of Dublin is laid out at your feet and, for the small sum of €8,000 a month, that feeling could be yours.
The three-bed apartment is one of a number of glamorous high-end apartments to hit the rental market.
The 167sq m (1,797sq ft) floor area is designed for entertaining with a smart lounge with double-height atrium, a big open-plan kitchen/livingroom and three bedrooms - two en suite and a third which suits better as a home office.
The penthouse has been given a major makeover and is now an homage to minimalist chic - gleaming white kitchen, low-slung couches and little to distract the eye from the knockout views.
Of course if "less is best" is not your cup of tea, alternatives can be arranged. At this end of the market tailoring of rental properties is de rigeur, explains letting agent Owen Reilly. The penthouse comes with its own two-car garage.
