Co Meath: from €335,000:Twenty-five well-presented homes at a new residential development beside Ashbourne town centre in Co Meath come to the market this week.
Show units will be on display this weekend to coincide with the first phase launch at Churchfields and joint selling agents Hooke & MacDonald and Tormey Lee will be taking bookings on site.
Kealahill Homes' Churchfields is beside the fast-developing Ashbourne town centre, a new quarter taking shape on the Dublin side of the village, featuring supermarkets, bars, restaurants, a public library and the county council offices.
The first phase of this scheme will comprise around 140 homes in total.
The one-time small country village of Ashbourne has undergone significant transformation in the last 10 years and now the town has a population of around 10,000.
Prices at Churchfields start at €335,000 for three-bedroom townhouses with 98sq m (1,045sq ft) of living space. Four-bedroom three-storey townhouses of 144sq m (1,535sq ft) are priced from €390,000.
Finally, four-bedroom semi-detached houses with 124sq m (1,300sq ft) are priced from €425,000.
Standard fit-out at the scheme is impressive. Kitchens have cream timber kitchens with black granite countertops, a double sink and polished porcelain flooring. Kitchen appliances are included. Livingrooms have superior marble or limestone fireplaces. Bathrooms have polished chrome heated towel rails and whirlpool baths. Under-floor heating is included in all of the en suites.
Outside, design by Fenton Simons includes brick and cream render. All houses have good living space as well as private gardens.
Landscape architect Ronan MacDiarmada has created attractive tree-lined avenues with walking paths and contemporary street lighting.
There is direct access to the Donaghmore/Ashbourne GAA Club and an on site Churchfields crèche.
All Churchfields residents will receive free social membership to the newly built Donaghmore/Ashbourne GAA Club.
Facilities here include football and hurling facilities, a bar and a gymnasium.
