RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW: In the fabric world, price has become as important as texture and colour. But cheap often means poor quality.
Cremins Moiselle is an Irish company offering affordable upholstery and curtain fabrics that will hit the right note with anyone looking for affordable luxury. Weaves, textures, plains and prints in six different colour-ways cost €20-45 per metre. Most popular are chic Tory Burch-style geometric designs on linen, sharkskin prints and bright chenilles. The men behind the brand, Gerard Cremins and Louis Moiselle, are better known for selling expensive fabrics from the US and Italy, but this new line, sold under their own name, offers some the best value in the business. The fabrics, pictured above, were styled by Helen Cody in a fashion setting, but are intended for decorating purposes. See www.creminsmoiselle.com. Eoin Lyons
