Croatia InvestmentApartments and villas in Croatia are being offered for sale on the Irish market through a London-based overseas investment company called Key Universal.

They range in price from €182,000 for one-bedroom apartments up to over €1 million for four-bedroom villas with swimming pools.

The development, Olive Island, is on the island of Ugljan, 6kms off Croatia's north Dalmatian coast. Access is by ferry from the city of Zandar.

A total of 413 units are being built in the development, 189 apartments and 126 villas. The company says that every property will have a sea view and either a garden or a balcony. Facilities in the development are to include a four-star hotel, marina, tennis courts, shops, restaurants and bars.

One-bedroom apartments of 59.9sq m (645sq ft) cost €182,000, and those with a 15.9sq m (171sq ft) terrace will cost €196,000. Three-bedroom apartments of 122.2sq m (1,315sq ft) cost from €427,000 up to €459,000 with a 92.6sq m (997sq ft) terrace.

Two to four-bedroom villas range in size from 111.4sq m (1,199sq ft) to 235sq m (2,529sq ft) and cost from €470,111 to €1.28 million.

The prices vary depending on whether they have a swimming pool and large terraces.

The developer of Olive Island is a German company, Deep Blue.
