Paddy Cusack/estate agent, Hamilton Osborne King:  After a three-year diploma in property studies at the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology, Paddy Cusack returned to Dublin for a further two years' study in Bolton Street.

When he joined Hamilton Osborne King in October 2003 he worked for 10 months in its new homes division, then moved into the firm's industrial division where he began working solely in the commercial property end of the business.

He specialised in the sale and acquisition of industrial property and also letting buildings on behalf of developers and negotiating commercial leases.

Now with the company's development land department, his job involves working with developers, and keeping a close eye on the market. He finds the commercial end of the business full of variety and the last year has been his busiest year so far.
