The well-known Johnstown Inn bar and restaurant at Johnstown, near Naas, Co Kildare, is expected to make about £2 million when it is auctioned on June 17th by John Younge Auctioneers. Johnstown, like many other villages close to Dublin, is rapidly changing because of the number of new houses being built. The inn has a newly renovated restaurant, a night-club and six guest bedrooms.

John Younge is also quoting a guide price of £2.5 million for Murphys-The Shaw House bar in Crimlin village, Dublin 12, which goes to auction on June 16th.
