Jackson Properties has paid in excess of £2.5 million for a housing site of 3.9 acres at Kilmacud Road Upper, Stillorgan. The local authority has indicated that a part of the site, between half and three-quarters of an acre, will be required for road widening. At least 50 residential units are likely to be allowed on the site, which was sold jointly by St Michael's House and the Sisters of Our Lady of Charity. The joint agents were Hamilton Osborne King and Donal O'Buachalla.
Meanwhile, Fingal County Council is likely to secure around £2.5 million when it sells a ten acre site with planning permission for 100 houses close to Blanchardstown Town Centre in west Dublin. The site, opposite Coolmine School, is to be auctioned by Lisney on September 18th.
