One of the leading retail businesses in Drogheda, the Black Bull Inn and the adjoining Egan's Foodhall, is expected to make in the region of £3.5 million when it is sold by private treaty through Fintan Sullivan of local agents, Sullivan Property Consultants. The Egan family has built up a thriving bar, restaurant and foodhall business over the past 21 years at Dublin Road. The bar and restaurant had a turnover last year of £1.18 million.

The foodhall is exceptionally well stocked and managed and had a turnover in the same period of £1.88 million. As well as a spacious bar and lounge there is a four-bedroom residence overhead. The businesses will be sold in either one or two lots.
