Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council has granted permission for Landmark Development's proposed 370,000-sq-ft development of offices at the Oriflame site on a pivotal junction in Sandyford Industrial Estate. The development consists of a cluster of four- to six-storey office blocks with access to the Murphystown Interchange on the South-Eastern Motorway.
The Council has meanwhile refused permission for two proposed developments in the Sandycove/Glasthule area. Permission for the construction of an office and retail complex on the site of the old Forum Cinema in Glasthule was turned down. An Bord Pleanala has refused permission for five apartments, a security office and bicycle park at Malahide Marina Village, Malahide, Co Dublin.
