Stylish minimalism is the order of the day in the landmark development of apartments at Knocklyon Gate, close to the well-established Woodstown Village, in Dublin 16.
Ross McParland is unveiling the show apartment this weekend in Ellier Development's latest scheme. However, only 12 of the 62 apartments remain available since all the others have already been sold off plans.
The three, four and five-storey buildings contain one, two and three-bedroom apartments. They have been designed by Anthony Reddy & Associates to make best use of natural light and many have views of the Dublin Mountains.
Three one-bedroom apartments remain, varying in size from 430 to 575 sq ft, and cost from £133,000 to £149,000 (E;168,875 to E;189,190).
The remaining two-bedroom apartments are priced from £173,000 to £188,000 (E;219,664 to E;238,710) and range in size from 751 to 932 sq ft, while there are three three-bedroom apartments available from £205,000 to £215,000 (E;260,296 to E;272,993) ranging in size from 1,012 to 1,111 sq ft.
Kitchens throughout are an attractive feature. They will be painted cream with beech-effect worktops and chrome handles. Quality appliances will be included in the purchase price, including a stainless steel extractor fan, hob and oven, fridge and washer/dryer. The kitchens will be finished off with a stainless steel kick-board along with contemporary wall and floor tiles.
The bathrooms will have luxury skimmed walls, again painted cream as standard, large mirrors and heated towel rails. Gold Shield electrical heating will be installed in all the apartments, some of the top-floor units will have underfloor heating while Rationel windows will complete the quality finish.
Apartments will also have steel balconies or terraces, some large enough to host a party, while the whole development will be landscaped by Brady Shipman Martin, to include a water feature. Each apartment will have a security intercom, TV points and lifts to all floors.
Ample parking will be provided and Woodstown Village shopping centre is close by the development, while the new road network comprising the M50 and the Southern Cross route is easily accessible. The show apartment will be open today from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
