A PRICE TAG of €3.3 million is a big ask in any market for a new, contemporary family house in a small development - for that price it would have to be something more than a bit out of the ordinary. Yet, the developers of The Vale on Rocky Valley Road in Kilmacanogue know their market.
Of the four houses they built on the scenic site, three sold quickly last year at around that price and a fourth went "sale agreed" only to have the deal fall through. It's this house that is for sale (through Lennox Estates) and it's kitted out in full, upmarket showhouse glory.
