Joint agents Druker Fanning and Partners and Hamilton Osborne King have begun marketing the Dublin Maccabi Association clubhouse and grounds at Kimmage Road West, Dublin 12, which are to be sold by tender on December 1st. Although no guide price has been issued, it is thought likely that it will make between £3 million and £4 million. The 8.75-acre sports grounds are held on a 150-year lease from Dublin Corporation from 1953 at an annual rent of £124. The sports grounds are in excellent condition and include a modern clubhouse, caretaker's bungalow, changing and shower rooms, bar and meeting rooms. The agents say the sale represents an outstanding opportunity to an emerging sports club to capitalise on the superb amenities at the Maccabi ground which include both full-size soccer and rubby pitches, a cricket facilities and three hard tennis courts. However, It seems likely the grounds will be of interest to developers hoping to secure a rezoning of the land. It adjoins the Lorcan O'Toole GAA grounds.
