The food larder is making a comeback

The food larder is making a comeback. This two-door free-standing piece by Aughrim-based Rhatigan and Hick (0402-94661) is made of native Irish oak that has been given a distressed paint finish.

Inside, the natural oak internals have shelving for all manner of cupboard goods as well as an Irish limestone work surface, perfect for cutting bread, making dough and pastry and juicing.

The model pictured measures 1.2m long by 2.3m high and 0.5m deep . Irish Timesreaders who present today's paper and place an order before 5pm this Saturday can cook up a storm in their kitchen for €3,640, a reduction of 30 per cent.
