LeadinG motor distributor, Motor Services, the retail arm of the O'Flaherty Group, is seeking planning permission for a motor showrooms and service facilities, as well as a residential scheme, at Navan Road, Dublin 7. Earlier this year, the company bought a 7.6-acre site at tender from the Department of Social Welfare for over £9 million.

The planning application provides for four motor sales showrooms with a combined size of over 15,000 sq ft; two single-storey buildings with over 2,000 sq ft; a service facility with over 10,000 sq ft; and an underground car-park, with 97 spaces.

The proposed residential scheme will comprise 222 one, two and three-bedroom apartments, 32 three-bedroom terraced houses and six two-bedroom duplex units with ground floor flats. A second motor group, Opel, is also planning to develop a showrooms.
