Property auctions have gained plenty of headlines in Dublin in recent times but they’re growing in appeal beyond the Pale.
Tomorrow, Galway-based auctioneers O’Donnellan and Joyce will host another all-day property auction, with 45 properties set to go under the hammer.
They’re currently proudly staking claim to the title of first auctioneers outside of the capital to embrace the all-day property auction model, with Friday’s sale set to be their biggest yet.
Their previous all-day auction last month saw 38 properties sold, with €9 million in sales recorded.
Expected to attract a lot of interest at tomorrow’s auction is the Burren Walking Lodge, a purpose-built 11-bed guesthouse on a two-acre site just outside Ballyvaughan on the edge of Galway Bay.
Located in a popular tourist area, the property includes a separate four -bed staff house and is for sale with an AMV of €227,000.
The auction will take place in The Harbour Hotel with the morning session getting underway at 11am featuring mainly commercial, land and investment properties.
The afternoon session will start at 3pm and will feature a combination of residential and investment properties, ranging in price from €68,000 to €390,000, all of which are under private instruction.
Registration for the morning session takes place at 10am, while you can sign-up for the evening session from 1.30pm.
