Another phase in a popular development built on the former Dún Laoghaire golf course is launching with 20 new four- and five-bed homes.
Cosgrave Developments sold the first round of 65 homes in its Honeypark scheme in 2013. The asking price was from €435,000 for properties of around 139sq m (1,500sq ft).
A total of 145 houses in the development have been sold to date, and most are occupied. Now agents Hooke and MacDonald are releasing 20 new homes that will be finished between May and October.
There are three types available. The five-bed Cedar is priced from €620,000 for 186sq m (2,002sq ft).The slightly bigger Ash plan, at 204sq m (2,200sq ft), has four or five bedrooms plus a study and will sell from €670,000. The Oak five-bed house starts at €740,000 and is 216sq m (2,325sq ft).
The houses have high ceilings and landscaped gardens with patios off the living area. They are well insulated and have low energy-loss windows, which contributes to an A rating for energy efficiency. Kitchen units are solid timber with Victoria quartz worktops.
The mature landscape includes playgrounds, four parks and a woodland walkway.
There are plans for a crèche in the development.
Access to the houses is off Glenageary Road Upper. Amenities in Glenageary, Dalkey, Dún Laoghaire and Blackrock are within easy reach.
Showhouses are open from today to March 22nd, on Thursday and Friday from 1pm to 2pm and Saturday and Sunday from 2.30pm to 4pm.
