IT’S BEEN a while since attractive models and small children were trotted out in an attempt to sell houses, but now it looks as though the glamour element is creeping back into the sales process – or so they’ll be hoping at Delvin Banks, a development of upscale houses in The Naul in north county Dublin where prices have dropped by almost 50 per cent.
Estate agents O’Farrell Cleere are now putting on a push to sell a batch of two, three and four-bedrooms homes there, with the help of model Georgia Salpa, cute children Zach and Rachel Deere, and Roxy the dog, all of whom are helping to publicise the price cuts.
Two-bedroom houses in the development of 80 homes, which is on the edge of the village, are priced at €230,000. A further inducement for buyers is that one will be drawn out of the hat to win a year’s holiday from their mortgage. The houses will be on view this Saturday and Sunday from 2pm-5pm.
