Sandyford/€495,000:Live/work units at Beacon South Quarter come to the market this week with prices starting at €495,000.
Sherry FitzGerald is launching 10 live/work units at the new south Dublin neighbourhood next Wednesday.
The units are aimed at those who wish to work from home but have a separate office or studio space that does not infringe on their living space.
The units comprise one-bedroom apartments with a separate office/work room, designed to cater for the requirements, including technological needs, of a small business.
The work element of the units have a separate entrance for clients and staff.
Prices start at €495,000 and go up to €745,000 with the majority of units costing around the €525,000-€560,000 mark.
Sizes also vary considerably with the smallest unit measuring 65sq m (700sq ft) and the largest 88sq m (950sq ft).
Finish in the units will be high-spec with high-gloss kitchens, mood lighting, and marble floors in the bathroom. Terraces will have hardwood decking and timber or steel handrails.
Located in the Sandyford Business Park, Beacon South Quarter is a new neighbourhood and part of a 100-acre site being built by Paddy Shovlin's Landmark Developments.
The scheme is located on the edge of the Sandyford Industrial Estate on the corner of Blackthorn Road beside the Beacon Court office block and close to the newly opened Beacon Hospital.
When complete, the Beacon South Quarter will have close to 1,000 homes. Over half of these have already been sold. Fifteen live/work units were sold in previous phases.
Units are complete and ready for occupation. New owners can purchase a car-parking space for €25,000.
The scheme is within striking distance of the M50 and a short walk from the Luas.
Features at Beacon South Quarter include a 24-hour concierge service, a crèche and a five-star spa, as well as significant retail and commercial elements.
