Permission to be granted for retail park in Swords

Another retail park is planned for north Dublin

Another retail park is planned for north Dublin. Fingal County Council has served notice of its intention to grant permission for a substantial park at Crowscastle, Swords. Businessman David O'Daly is to develop 15 retail warehouses with a gross floor area of 338,000 sq ft. The units will include a fastfood outlet, two garden centres and up to 25,000 sq ft of mezzanine space. Meanwhile, in Dun Laoghaire, Castlepark Construction has sought permission to demolish Mount Villa and Lynhurst, two houses at Mount Town Villa, and replace them with 22 duplex residential units in two three-storey blocks over a basement carpark.
