Development work has begun on an 80,000 sq ft retail warehouse development on the Fonthill Road, opposite Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, in west Dublin. Power City is to open a stand-alone 40,000 sq ft showroom, which will be completed next spring. The second block of 46,000 sq ft will be ready for occupation next February and has been designed to subdivide into three or four units. There will be 400 car-parking spaces. Jones Lang Wootton is quoting rents of about £13 per sq ft.
