Shopfront: Interior designer Rosemary Blake has a problem that could well be an easy solution for those looking for cushions with unusually rich colours at a reasonable price.
Her Donnybrook studio is stacked with silk cushions left over from a very large project - and she needs to get rid of them fast in order to free up some space.
It's a common enough situation for designers to find themselves in, but instead of saving them for another job, she's selling the lot off for €35 and €40 each (originally €85 to the client). Bought at a trade show in Paris, they come in colours such as dusty pink, burnt orange, mint green, black and gold.
Although most are rectangular, don't be put off when you hear they have a ruched velvet panel. If they're to your taste, these are a pretty good bargain.
