With the changes in densities, all the house-builders are opting for townhouse and apartments schemes, so the chances of buying a luxury detached house in Dublin are all but gone. They will become like needles in a haystack.

Scouring through the ads, one finds very few of them, and it is unlikely to change in the future. The reality is that detached houses are a thing of the past, and the last few ones that are available will appreciate significantly.
