Galway: from €265,000 A new apartment development close to the centre of Galway city is launching from plans today with joint agents Heskin Auctioneers and Sherry FitzGerald Kavanagh.
The launch venue is the Radisson Hotel in Galway and the doors opened at 9am.
Cúirt Seoige is under construction on the former Connacht Mineral Water site in Bohermore, less than 10minutes' walk from Eyre Square. Prices start at €265,000 for one-bedroom apartments of 45-47sq m (484-506sq ft) and €330,000 for two-bedroom apartments of 61-74sq m (657-797sq ft). Duplex penthouses with two bedrooms and private roof terraces cost from €425,000.
The first 46 apartments are going on sale out of a total of 114 apartments in this contemporary scheme. These will be set around a central courtyard with landscaping and underground parking. Most are two-bedroom units, with a few one-beds and some two-bedroom duplex penthouses with roof gardens.
The standard of finish and fit-out will be impressive, with smart integrated kitchens with all appliances, underfloor heating and swipe key access. Floors will be carpeted and tiled and wardrobes will be fitted. A car-parking space is also part of the package.
A leisure centre with swimming pool is also planned for the complex, although membership is not included in the purchase price.
Developer Padraig Connolly is a native of Galway with a long track record in commercial and industrial projects in the city and county. Cúirt Seoige is his first substantial residential development. Atlantic Architects Ltd were responsible for design.
The first units are expected to be ready to move into from September this year.
