At a time when some agents are scaling down their involvement in the second-hand homes market, Kelly Walsh, based in Dublin’s south city centre and known more for commercial property and new homes markets, are bravely setting up what they call a “boutique-style agency” dealing with the second-homes market .
The residential homes department is being headed by Sarah McCarthy and Helena Kelleher who are both chartered surveyors. And they are making a bullish foray into the market.
Their Herbert Street premises is “not the run-of-the-mill glass-fronted retail pitch” according to their publicity blurb, with “interiors by Helen Turkington” and a mission to offer a service to disgruntled vendors who feel they are not getting what they deserve.
And we wish them good luck!
Meanwhile Knight Frank Ireland is expanding again, adding a new residential lettings department and appointing new personnel.
