The second phase of Fernleigh, the follow-up by Castlethorn Construction to its successful Riverwood development at Castleknock, Dublin 15, is being launched this weekend with 42 two and three-bedroom townhouses in a choice of four different styles.
Prices start from £167,000 (€212,050) for a two-bedroom townhouse, so selling agents Leahy Property Consultants expect good interest from first-time buyers and people trading up or down within the Castleknock area.
There are four house styles available in this phase. The two-bedroom 795 sq ft townhouse costs from £167,000 (€212,050); a 980 sq ft three-bedroom townhouse is priced from £183,000 (€232,360); a 1,035 sq ft three-bedroom townhouse from £190,000 (€241,250) and a 1,300 sq ft three-storey three-bedroom townhouse from £210,000 (€266,645).
The first phase of Fernleigh sold rapidly when it was launched earlier this year. Located off the Carpenterstown Road just a few minutes by car from Castleknock village, the development is centrally located within easy distance of many shopping and leisure facilities, as well as schools and churches.
Blanchardstown town centre is close by, while the area is also served by the suburban train service from Coolmine station.
The homes now going for sale will be ready for occupation from September to December next. It is a colourful development, with individual wood-panelled front doors painted in a variety of bright colours.
Features include Rationel timber patio doors, fitted kitchens and timber fireplaces with coal-effect gas fires. All of the house styles have the kitchen/ breakfastroom to the front, with the lounge overlooking the back garden. French doors lead to a paved patio area in the fenced back garden.
A children's play area and tennis court at the adjoining Riverwood estate will be available to Fernleigh residents.
