Blackrock/from €535,000:Apartments in a good southside location come to the market for the first time this week with prices starting at €535,000.
Hooke & MacDonald has released seven of a total of 14 two and three-bedroom apartments at Duncairn Court, Sweetman's Avenue in Blackrock village.
Sweetman Avenue is off Frascati Road and is next door to the Garda station on a site that was previously occupied by warehouses. All Blackrock hotspots are within walking distance.
The scheme is five storeys high with one shop at ground level. It is built around a private central courtyard.
Two-bedroom apartments are being released in this phase. These have 63-77sq m (680-825sq ft) of living space and cost from €535,000. There are some parking spaces available at an additional cost of €40,000.
The scheme, designed by HKR Architects, is now complete and apartments are ready to move into, says selling agent Niall Manley.
Duncairn Court will appeal to young buyers in the area who are keen to stay close to home.
Because of its location, it will also be of interest to mature buyers looking to trade down. It will particularly suit people interested in being less car-reliant.
Kitchens are from Alno and have ivory high-gloss units with stone worktops. Appliances are by Neff. The bathrooms have good quality tiling with vanity units that have walnut details.
All of the bedrooms are doubles and all but one of the apartments have en suites attached to the main bedroom. Bedrooms have fitted sliding wardrobes from German company Lodden Kemper.
Maintenance charges will be in the region of €1,700-€1,750, according to the selling agent.
