Two development sites in Dublin city centre, one at Grattan Street and the other at Lower Camden Street, have come on the market through DTZ Sherry FitzGerald. Peter Lynch, of the selling agents, expects to secure over £1 million for the 6,800 sq ft site at the junction of Grattan Street and Grattan Court East, close to Merrion Square, which has full planning permission for two different developments - one of them a scheme of 12 apartments with 2,740 sq ft at street level and the other 16 apartments with a basement car-park. The site goes to auction on March 4th.
A 5,000 sq ft redevelopment site at 40/40a Lower Camden Street, Dublin 2, is expected to make in excess of £550,000 when it is sold at auction on February 13th. It was formerly occupied by two terraced shops and rear gardens. The site backs on to Harcourt Street Garda Station and, according to the agency, it could be used for a retail and office scheme or for apartments.
