Quinta do Lago: from €1m: A six-star hotel and apartments are being built in the Denis O'Brien-developed Quinta do Lago resort, right, on Portugal's Algarve, for those who like to avail of private jets, chartered yachts, preferred tee times and a butler when they are on holiday.
The Conrad Palacio de Quinta development will include a hotel with 158 rooms and suites and 79 apartments. The resort, which is due to be completed in 2010, is beside the Quinta shopping complex and facilities include designer shops, a cinema, tennis and a 1,000sq m (10,769sq ft) spa. Residents will also get preferred tee times and discounts in golf courses across Europe.
There will be two, three and four-bedroom apartments for sale, ranging from 80.23sq m (863.5sq ft) to 214.74sq m (2,311sq ft), with terraces. Prices are expected to range between €1 million to €3 million.
