The two original Georgian buildings occupied by Dublin solicitors Arthur Cox at 42/43 St Stephen's Green are expected to make in excess of £1.8 million when they are sold by tender on June 18th through McNally Handy. The buildings are owned by three partners in the firm. The two interconnecting buildings have 7,640 sq ft, including an exceptionally fine reception area and a wood-panelled board room. There are 11 car parking spaces which are reached from Merrion Court.
Company personnel recently moved to Earlsfort Terrace where they took over 55,000 sq ft which was vacated by Lifetime Assurance, a subsidiary of the Bank of Ireland. Before they moved, Arthur Cox occupied three adjoining buildings on St Stephen's Green. Number 41, owned by property developer John Ronan, is now occupied by solicitors Francis Burke. The fourth building, owned by Bank of Ireland Asset Managers, is currently vacant.
