Dublin firm of solicitors Eugene F. Collins is understood to be close to agreement on renting a prestigious office block currently occupied by solicitors Matheson Ormsby Prentice (MOP) at 3 Burlington Road, Dublin 4. If the deal goes ahead, Eugene F. Collins will be paying close to £18 per square foot for the 20,000-square-foot block under a new lease. There are 15 on-car-parking spaces, which are likely to cost an additional £1,500 each. MOP is to move to a larger building which is under construction in Herbert Street.
The six-storey Burlington Road block was fitted out at a cost of £1 million when it was completed in 1990. The specification includes the most up to date Norena platform floors, high-quality partitions and a standby generator. The letting is being handled by Spain Courtney Doyle and Palmer McCormack, while Eugene F. Collins is being advised by Costello Commercial.
