Co Kilkenny: from €265,000 Gowran Park Racecourse is the venue for an off-plans launch of a new scheme in the village of Thomastown, Co Kilkenny this weekend.

Joint agents Hooke & MacDonald and Walter Walsh of Thomastown are launching The Green in Thomastown - a development of 100 three and four-bed houses by Pierse Homes - at the racecourse's Helen Sheane suite this weekend.

Building work has started and completions are expected from summer 2006. Prices start at €265,000 for three-bed semis of 104sq m (1,120sq ft). Four-bed semis of 124sq m (1,340sq ft) cost from €300,000. The Greens is opposite the train station and under a mile from Mount Juliet.
