Pat Casey - Casey Properties
The Coppinger and Orpen estates have come on a lot over the years because they are in good locations. Good mid-range houses - not the dearest and not the cheapest. They're wellbuilt and have held their value very well.
Denis Beare - Lisney
Merville Avenue, Oakley Road are still good value and also Westbury off Kilmacud Road Upper. They have good four and five-bedroom houses ideal for families and children can walk to the schools. I'd advise any buyer that Stillorgan has more to offer than most areas and caters for different price ranges, from £190,000 to whatever.
David McMorrow - Douglas Newman Good
I wouldn't buy a new house. Good value is Kilmacud Road on the edge of Mount Merrion, Slieve Rua drive, Woodleigh Park, Thornhill Road - you can get the same houses as on South Avenue for less money. You can get a three-bed semi on the Stillorgan side for £250,000, which will cost you up to £400,000 on the top roads in Mount Merrion.
Vincent Finnegan - Vincent Finnegan Ltd
Stillorgan Park Avenue has some great detached houses, Linden Lea, Woodlands Drive and Park are tucked away and very nice.
Peter Watchman - Jackson Stops & McCabe
The Sorohan-built houses on Holywell are excellent value. Also the older houses off Kilmacud Road Lower in more established developments.
Robin Palmer - Gunne Residential
The best area is the Blackrock side of Stillorgan - Stillorgan Park, Grove Avenue. They have stillorgan addresses, but are on the "right side of the tracks". Also properties on the fringes of Dundrum and Mount Merrion.
