Heavy interest from both Southern and Northern developers is reported in one of the very few prime potential apartment development sites in the coastal conservation area of Strangford, Co Down. Belfast agents Brown McConnell Clark are refusing to be drawn on a guideline price for the former Killyleagh Yarns five-acre site, which goes to auction on June 10th. There are a number of Victorian mill buildings on the site that would suit redevelopment as apartments, according to the agents. Killyleagh is one of the most sought-after holiday/dormer home locations in the North.
