A new development of 84 apartments in Pontefract, west Yorkshire, hits the market this week through Gaughran Homes.
Called Castle Grove, it is situated in the heart of Pontefract and is about 20 minutes by train or car from Leeds.
On offer are two-bedroom apartments of 56-65 sq m (600-700 sq ft) priced from £118,00-£125,000 (around €169,550-€179,603). There is ample surface car-parking in the development and the scheme is composed of four blocks.
The apartments come with electric heating, an integrated digital satellite TV system, security alarm and walk-in bay windows. According to the developer, the scheme will be ready for occupation in July.
Castle Grove is five minutes from the nearest train station which has regular departures to Leeds city centre. The development is also near the A1 and M62.
Better known for its flat racecourse, Pontefract has a vibrant shopping and commercial centre with weekly markets.
