Station Court is a scheme of 85 houses and apartments on The Avenue in Gorey, opposite the train station and within minutes walk of Main Street.

Apartments went on sale for the first time at Station Court last year and 30 units sold. Now the developer is releasing two and three-bedroom townhouses for the first time.

Prices for apartments start at €250,000 for two-bedroom homes measuring 78sq m (840sq ft). Two-bedroom houses with 86sq m (930sq ft) of living space cost from €285,000.

Three-bedroom houses with 99sq m (1,070sq ft) cost from €320,000. Three-bedroom duplexes with 116sq m (1,245sq ft) also cost from €320,000.

Selling agent Hooke & MacDonald will be taking bookings at show units on site this weekend. The scheme is nearing completion and all units can be viewed.

Maintenance fees range from €700 to €1,250, according to the selling agent.

Townhouses have built-in wardrobes, modern kitchens, fireplaces, tiled kitchens and bathrooms, and a small back garden.

Developer Pat Neville & Sons and architects Michéal Sheridan have designed the scheme around a central green.

The scheme has its own crèche and is across the road from the new Gorey Town Centre which comprises 19 retail units, including Dunnes, a medical centre, restaurants and offices.

Buyers in the earlier phase were predominately owner-occupiers but the scheme could also interest investors. Two-bedroom homes in Gorey achieve a rent of around €800 and three-bed homes €1,000, says the agent.
