The Bridge Partnership is seeking to build a retail and apartment scheme involving the construction of an eight-storey building on Davitt Road in Dublin 12.
The development will involve the demolition of the existing Miller Group building on Davitt Road and the construction of four buildings ranging in height between eight and four storeys.
A total of 62 apartments in four separate blocks will be provided if the development gets the go ahead. Around 1,435 sq m (15,446 sq ft) of commercial / showroom space, 1,300 sq m (13,993 sq ft) of office space and a crèche will also be provided.
Apartments and creche for school site
Permission for 21 apartments and a childcare facility on the grounds of the former De La Salle Junior School on Kilmacud Road Upper has been granted by Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council.
Mr and Mrs R Leeney were given the go-ahead for a two-storey childcare facility and a three-storey apartment building on the 1.4-acre site. The scheme involves the demolition of a detached house and a childcare building.
The apartment building will comprise 14 two-beds and seven three-beds. Also included are 22 surface and 22 basement car-parking spaces.
Rathfarnham apartments rejected
Plans to build 85 apartments on the site of the South Ford Centre in Rathfarnham have been turned down by South Dublin County Council.
The developers were seeking to build two five-storey blocks containing 40 and 45 apartments on the site on Whitechurch Road, D16.
Fifty student houses planned for UCD
University College Dublin is seeking to build 50 six-bed student houses on the grounds of its Belfield campus.
The development will consist of three blocks of five and six-storeys and will provide for 300 bed spaces.
