When complete, the scheme, located a 10-minute walk from Longford town centre, will comprise 220 units: 75 homes have been sold to date.

The houses qualify for Section 23 relief, granting investors tax-free status on all rental income earned in the State.

In addition, owner-occupiers can also obtain tax relief against income.

The homes have large living areas with sittingrooms, well equipped kitchens and spacious family bathrooms. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms and one single.

All homes come with an integrated central cabling system, in which telephone, broadband, sound systems and TV services are co-ordinated into one central hub.

Completions are due from the end of this year and into spring 2008, says the selling agent.

Previous schemes by the Hanly Group include Milners Square, and Carrickmines Green.
