Do you know what criollo beans are used for? Can you name the movie in which Andy Garcia makes gnocchi in a completely suggestive fashion? Exactly what is the main ingredient of iman bayaldi? Food writers and columnists from The Irish Times will be hosting 10 tables at what promises to be a most entertaining and delicious food quiz in the Cellar Restaurant at the Merrion Hotel in Dublin on Wednesday, May 27th, and they’d like you to join them.

Executive chef Ed Cooney will be master of the kitchen and Sudi Pigott (above), author of How to be a Better Foodie, will act as quiz master.
