YAMAHA RUMOUR MILL:Rumours are circling the motorcycle industry that Yamaha is currently developing an all-new V-Max for 2008, which should be launched into Europe later this year. The patent drawings show how Yamaha is developing and adapting the exhausts of its 2005 concept bike into a production reality.
The new machine will be one to watch out for, featuring a mighty 1800 cc v-four engine with variable valve timing and v-boost air intakes.
REPLICA AEROX
If you ever dreamed of knee sliding your way around the Catalunya Moto GP circuit competing alongside greats such as Valentino Rossi, Marco Melandri and Casey Stoner, then you can still make your dream somewhat a reality on Yamaha's latest replica Aerox scooter. This new GP-inspired scooter bears the latest Fiat Yamaha team replica livery.
You're sure impress your friends with this eye-catching machine. "The Supersport-inspired bodywork of the 50cc Aerox provides the perfect canvas for the race replica colour scheme, so now Rossi and Edwards fans can add a dash of GP colour and kudos to their daily commute, or evening rendezvous with friends downtown," claims Yamaha. The paintjob replicates the one used by the Fiat Yamaha team in the 2007 Moto GP World Championship.
But beneath those colours is a two-stroke liquid-cooled engine and twist-and-go transmission. It also has sports-tuned suspension, 190mm disc brakes and an electric kick-start.
And to keep the thieves at bay, the Aerox Race Replica features a helmet locker under the dual seat, and a trick analogue dash panel.
