Apple MacBook
Price:from €1,199
Buy:www.apple.com/ie/macbook
Apple says that it has "started over" with the new MacBook. The new version is made from one solid piece of aluminium, which makes it both thin and light, but also strong.
It comes available in two sizes, 13-inch or 15-inch, with the former perfect if you need to work on economy-class planes a lot.
It retains the built-in iSight camera so you can use it for Skype and video calls and now utilises two graphics cards.
Mini Desk
Price:€3,200 upwards
Buy:www.ministatements.co.uk
This is impossible not to love. It is a desk made from a real Mini. Glynn Jenkins is the man responsible for carving up an old Mini and turning it into some seriously cool office furniture. Prices aren't cheap, but then it is a desk made out of a real car.
Kensington LiquidAux Deluxe
Price:€79.95
Buy:www.store.apple.com
This device allows people to play music stored on iPod, iPhones or music phones through the car stereo. The kits charge while playing, and include a remote control that attaches to the steering wheel so drivers can keep their eyes on the road while selecting their music.
BMW 3 Series Convertible (for little ones)
Price:€334 (electric version) / €200 (pedal version)
Buy:BMW dealers nationwide
With times getting a little harder, it might only be your kids who get a new BMW Convertible next year. Lucky so-and-sos if they do, because this one is very cool. The electric one comes with a 6-volt battery so it's already kind to the environment and can drive up to a blistering 4km/h and run for 1.5 hours. It takes 15 hours to fully charge the 3 Series for kids, so it really is one of the first plug-in cars. However, you could save a few euro and get the pedal version and let your little darlings do the work themselves.
Sony Ericsson C902 Bond Phone
Price:€309 (pre-pay)
Buy:o2.ie
With the latest Bond film, Quantum of Solace, soon to be released, there will be everything from soft drinks to toilet roll with Bond on it, as product placement goes mad.
Well, here is the phone that the secret agent uses in the new film.
It won't fire rockets or grenades, but it does have a 5-megapixel camera, a 160MB built-in memory and it comes pre-loaded with various Bond content, including wallpapers, screensavers and the Bond mobile theme. We are assured that it will also make and receive phone calls.
