Routes to avoid during the week ahead
DUBLIN: Aston Place closed, 8am and 6pm, Monday to Saturday between Fleet Street and Bedford Lane, for deliveries to a construction site.
River Lane, Shankill closed for flood prevention works. Alternative route via Rathsallagh Distributor Road.
Angelsea Row (off Capel St) closed between northern and southern tip of Millfront Façade, for re-development of the site.
Cathedral St closed for refurbishment of buildings. No through access, pedestrian access on north footpath beside the Pro Cathedral.
WICKLOW: R759 Ballinastoe to Sally Gap road at Luggala closed for roadworks. Alternative routes via L1013 past Powerscourt Waterfall, the R115 to Sally Gap or via Wicklow Gap.
WESTMEATH: Works on N6 between Horseleap and Kilbeggan daily between 9 and 5pm.
OFFALY: Works on Arden Rd, Tullamore between Reservoir Site and Durrow Cross. Single lane traffic, temporary lights. Delays expected.
LOUTH: Dundalk Western bypass - northbound traffic diverted west at roundabout, north of Dundalk Greyhound Track to new link road towards old N1 to Ballymascanlon roundabout, to CR97 (Faughert/ Jonesborough Rd), east on new stretch of Western Bypass, finally back to normal route. Southbound traffic unaffected. Speed limit 50kph.
LIMERICK: Resurfacing on N21 west of Newcastle West, 8am to 6pm daily - single lane traffic, stop/go system.
TIPPERARY: Watermain replacement works on N7 in Toomevara. Delays likely.
Resurfacing on N24 between Cahir and Clonmel, 8am to 6pm daily. Local traffic diversion - all heavy goods vehicles use N24, single lane traffic.
WATERFORD: Peter St closed for urban renewal.
Works on N25 on Dungarvan side of Kilmeaden. Temporary traffic lights, 8am to 6pm daily.
KERRY: Delays on Conor Pass Road between Kilmore Cross and Conor Hill Viewing Park, as a result of road works. Use N86 between Dingle and Camp via Annascaul.
Works on N21 between Tralee and Ballycarty between Ratass east of Tralee and the recently completed llycarty Roundabout, where N21 and N22 converge.
CORK: Point Road, Crosshaven, from entrance to new Eastern Car Park to entrance to Piper's Yard closed for Crosshaven Sewerage Scheme.
From 8pm to 7am Monday to Thursday traffic restrictions in Jack Lynch Tunnel - southbound bore closed, and contraflow on northbound. Same restrictions, 7am Saturday April 16th to 6pm Sunday April 17th.
Watercourse Rd closed outbound from O'Connell St to Blackpool Bridge until Saturday April 30th.
St Patrick's Street and Daunt's Square closed from junction with Grand Parade. Access to Cornmarket Street from Kyrl's Quay and Lavitt's Quay only.
